Spectacular white wine from Priorat.

Dominik Huber created the first white wine in his terroir-focused portfolio with the aim of emphasizing the special role of white grape varieties. Her talent for accompanying Mediterranean cuisine and inspiring discerning connoisseurs is immediately evident in the Terroir al Límit Pedra de Guix. This cuvée combines three white wine vines and shows a wonderfully multifaceted spectacle.

Grape Varieties : 33% Pedro Ximénez ( Lloar), 33% Macabeo (Torroja) and 33% Grenache Blanc (Poboleda)
Vintage: 2019
Growing area: Spain - Priory
Analytical Profile: Alcohol: 13.0% vol. ; Residual sugar: 1.00 g/l ; Acid: 5.40 g/l
Eye: The Terroir al Límit Pedra de Guix shines in a medium-strong golden yellow with greenish reflections when the glass is swirled.
Nose: The cuvée offers the nose exotic notes of mango and lime zest. Dried lemon slices and mineral spice underline the exoticism. The white wine then surprises with subtly smoky nuances and makes you curious about the first sip.
Taste: Intense and complex. On the tongue it unfolds a complex body with a dense structure. Notes of mango, citrus zest and mineral hints of wet stone erupt from the lush texture. They pamper the tongue and are reminiscent of the sun over Priorat. The Terroir al Límit Pedra de Guix sounds full-bodied and creamy with a long finish.
Expansion:

50 to 80 year old vines.

The small plots are 400 to 600 m above sea level - hand picking and biodynamic expansion are the recipe for success.

After hand-picking, Dominik Huber gently processes the fruit using a basket press. The Terroir al Límit Pedra de Guix then stays for two years in tonneaux and fuders made from French oak.
