Weingut Schwarz ... THE BUTCHER

In 2004, Hans Schwarz produced his first "A Lita" white and red wine, with a focus on serving by the glass in gastronomy, but also to revive the 1 liter format. The idea for the "Kumarod" came about in 2006 when looking at a picture by Nikolaus Eberstaller, which adorns the label today. This wine was created to commemorate the close friendship between Alois Kracher, Manfred Krankl and Hans Schwarz.

In 2012, the decision to build the new winery was made in a three-phase plan. Today the winery is in the first third and should be completely built in the next few years.

The location... a dream

If the good Lord kissed Austria, then on Andau. Andau is not only the warmest place in the country, but also blessed with the most hours of sunshine. Warmth, sun and mineral gravel soils offer ideal conditions for mature, full-bodied, harmonious red wines worldwide.
