The "little" super tuscan...

Like the Vigna del Sorbo and Flaccianello, the Chianti Classico is a single-variety Sangiovese, the grapes come from different, younger plots of the winery. The planting density varies between 3500 and 6000 vines per hectare.
After the manual harvest, the grapes were fermented on the mash in stainless steel tanks with temperature control; the grape's own yeasts were used. The young wine matured for 18 months in barrique barrels made from Tronçais and Allie oak, some of the barrels are replaced with new ones every year.

Savings were made here only on the price, when preparing the base wine Giovanni Manetti's team makes no compromises. This Chianti Classico can undoubtedly be described as one of the classics among the top wineries.
