"Killer Rosé" (Robert Parker Wine Advocate)

Chateau Miraval by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

The two once afforded the Château Miraval as a summer residence and won over the Perrin family for the associated vineyards, since such a vineyard very quickly becomes overgrown and is not a pretty sight. But no one expected such a hype about wine, although at Perrin they not only know something about "making wine", but also about how to market a wine. Now it has become quieter and the Perrin family has developed the wine into a little insider tip. Who expects such quality from such a famous wine?

Brangelina's rosé, a fascinating blend of Cinsault, Syrah, Grenache and Rolle, surprises us with a fruity freshness that is second to none. This may be due to the unusual way in which rosé is produced: 10-20% of the must is extracted here without being pressed; these are then further processed into rosé wine. Superb freshness and length on the palate, mineral-salty texture, focusing entirely on finesse and elegance. A taste carpet of fresh strawberries and nuances of citrus fruits and wild herbs delight as well as the elegant unusual bottle shape. Nice fullness and length on the palate.

A dream rosé from Provence!
