White wine cuvée for festive moments.

This rich, textured blend of Pedro Ximenez (50%) and Muscat d' Alexandria (50%) is only Terroir al Limit's second white wine.

The clay soils of El Molar, an ancient mining village at the southern end of Priorat, provide an ideal haven for 25-year-old Pedro Ximenez (PX) vines, bearing fruit of unparalleled finesse.

Analytical Profile: Alcohol: 13.0% vol. ; Residual sugar: 1.00 g/l ; Acid: 5.10 g/l
Eye: Medium-strong golden yellow paired with green reflections.
Nose: Hints of citrus fruit, quince, white currant and lychee. Fine mineral nuances of flint, slivers of slate and a fine touch of spring-like blossoms.
Taste: On the lips with a great melt. The mouthfeel is rich and full. Citrus fruit, mirabelle plum and exotic lychee come to the fore again. With good length and mineral grip, the cuvée slowly says goodbye in the aftertaste.

25-30 year old vines.

The harvest is done by hand and a first selection is made in the vineyard. The Pedro Ximenez grapes are classically crushed by gently walking on the grapes in a traditional manner for about an hour. The must is then pressed directly. During the entire process, extraction, maturity and maceration take place in parallel.

The Muscat is vinified just like a red wine according to the ancient Burgundian method. The terroir is brought even more to the fore by wild yeasts from the vineyard.

It then matures in concrete vats for 14 months.
