That's how Barbera goes...

The fascination for the Massolino Barbera d'Alba DOC from the Italian Piedmont already begins in the glass, when the ruby red shimmer dances in gentle waves when swirled. The elegant bouquet is as impenetrable and mysterious as its colorful brilliance appears.

At first you wouldn't expect the scent of fresh meadow flowers and yellow blossoms with this compact red wine. In the next moment, the aroma of red berries sweetens the floral scent. The fruit shows a presence typical of the Barbera grape variety, smells inviting and seduces to sip. The mouth fills with a fruity structure, firm and expressive. A balanced interplay of fruit and freshness can be seen on the tongue. You can experience the entire enjoyable potential of the Massolino Barbera d'Alba DOC at the recommended drinking temperature of 16°C, when the full body has unfolded.

With its elegant but uncomplicated style, the dry red wine from Piedmont naturally tastes excellent with Mediterranean cuisine. You should therefore definitely enjoy antipasti and spicy pasta together with the Barbera d'Alba DOC from the Vigna Rionda winery in Serralunga d'Alba.
