Braida - Bricco dell'Uccellone Barbera d'Asti DOCG 2018

The legendary Braida Bricco dell'Uccellone, pioneer of all modern Barberas, is incredibly elegant and soft, with impressive concentration and substance. In the bouquet wonderful scents of ripe berries, fruit and peppermint. Beguiling, complex, seductive nose with lots of ripe, dark fruit, roasted notes, dark chocolate and some pepper. Full and firm on the palate. Voluminous, with a dense structure. Again dark fruit, cherries, notes of warm spices. Long, juicy and very harmonious finish.

The Barbera grapes from the legendary Uccellone vineyard are harvested by hand and processed immediately. After the gentle crushing of the grapes, a gentle maceration follows for 20 days at a controlled temperature. The young wine then matures for 15 months in barriques and another twelve months in the bottle.
