What you have to say right at the beginning: The Terroir al Límit Arbossar from Torroja del Priorat is one of the most fascinating wines that this wine region produces.

Only 1.6 hectares is the vineyard, which is 350 - 400 meters above sea level and faces north. The varietal Cariñena benefits from the extremely low yields of the gnarled plants.

Eye: Powerful crimson with violet reflections and a deep dark core.
Nose: Black elderberry, ripe blackberry and dried plum. Violet blossom and a touch of vanilla. The spicy slate is reminiscent of the terroir.
Taste: At first glance, a fruity firework display opens up. Dark forest berry jam with some liquorice and crisp slate spice. With this complex structure, the red wine remains present the entire time and only lets go very slowly, even in the long aftertaste. Lean but still focused. A dream!

After hand-picking, Dominik Huber ages the wine in concrete for 16 months, creating an exciting contrast to the region's often wood-aged red wines.
